Hypnosis To Improve
Your Children’s Problems
We see too many children suffering from school or academic-related difficulties. Some of those problems involve one or more of the following:
- getting homework done,
- poor classroom performance,
- not liking school,
- inconsistent grades
- trouble making friends,
- low self-esteem,
- problems in the basic like reading and writing,
- trouble memorizing,
- peer pressure” and more
One Answer To Help Your Child
Can Be Hypnosis.
Children particularly aged 6 and older, are terrific subjects for hypnosis because they have fewer established beliefs, or what we call, “fewer imprints” because of having less time to reinforce negative suggestions. Children also have an innate desire for discovery and are very open to learning, receiving and even responding to new ideas.
Their subconscious is highly receptive because at this young age they are still just beginning, and literally creating the structure of their inner library: its beliefs, impressions and life experiences. How they think at this young and impressionable age will stay with them for the rest of their lives. In only two to three sessions, most children will see improvement.
Parental Support Plays A Big Role
It’s vital that parents know from the start: Hypnosis is not mind-control. Not by any means. Not even the most powerful hypnotist could force a child to change a behavior they really DON’T want to change.
Of course parents or their guardian are present and informed of each step in the process. Parents may either stay in the room, or perhaps wait outside the office. While parents should be supportive and encouraging, they play no part in the hypnotic session.
First Hypnosis Session
The first session provides an opportunity for the child to identify the problem, and what they’d like the end result to be. It’s also the time for the therapist and child to build a rapport, and for the parent to become comfortable with the process.
We use the power of your child’s Imagination
We have found that most children can achieve a powerful level of hypnosis much quicker than adults. Since children have such vivid imaginations, we take advantage of that to incorporate various imaginative tools to help recondition their thinking. We may use stories, visualizations, imaginative games and role playing.
What other problems can be helped?

A Little Homework Your Chill Will Be Prescribed
Children are given assignments after their hypnotic session to instill the belief in the child that they are part or the problem-solving process. They may be asked to keep a diary, or listen to a recording at bedtime, draw pictures or some other simple exercises.
100% Zero Side Effects
When performed by a trained and reputable therapist like myself, hypnosis poses neither risk nor any adverse effects. Simply put, hypnosis is really all about learning things you didn’t know you knew and controlling things you didn’t think you could. It’s about using daydreams and imagination, thinking deeply and learning how to get your own mind to work for you instead of against you.
How many sessions your child may need cannot be guaranteed. We do know that most little ones do experience some success in the very first session, and most children are happily finished in 2-4 sessions.
Just like any other treatment, results cannot be 100 percent guaranteed. What I do guarantee is the very best hypnosis services, using the most current information and proper techniques for your child's problem.
But having said this, I know that you will be pleased with the results of your child’s hypnotic session. And I look forward to meeting you and your child.
